Hester works as a postdoctoral researcher at the section Clinical Developmental Psychology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and within the SocialSelves Lab. Her research is focused on social cognition, social relationships, and mental wellbeing. Next to these research activities she is course coordinator of a bachelor course and supervises students with their research projects.
